|topic:||Automatization of the molten salt electrolysis process to produce neodymium and praseodymium|
With the increasing importance of electromobility and energy from wind turbines worldwide, the demand for modern Fe-B-(Nd / Pr) magnets is also increasing. The rare earth elements used for this purpose are mainly produced in China by means of molten salt electrolysis.
The main task is the development, optimization and automatization of molten salt electrolysis for didymium production (Nd-Pr), which is competitive with China and meets European standards.
