Copper Electrolytic Refining Device
Application area :
  • Production of high purity copper (99,99%)
  • Recovery of precious metals from copper
  • Analysis of influences of anode copper impurities on dissolving anodes, passivation effects, cathode quality etc.
Performance data:
  • 1 electrolysis bath with 6 cells made of PVC, 1 anode and 2 cathodes for each cell
  • Cell volumina: ca. 6 l, 465 x 105 x 140 mm
  • Stainless steel cathodes: 450 x 110 x 30 mm, anode: 390 x 105 x 25 mm
  • Thermostat for bath heating (±1 °C), max. 70 °C
  • Water dosing system for a constant bath level
  • Elektrolyte circulation by injecting N2 via airlift system
  • Measurement unit: cell voltage, cath. current, anode potential

Molten salt electrolyse

  • Carrying out electrochemical measurements
  • Continuous FT-IR gas analysis

  • Volume: 800 ml electrolyte

  • Voltage measurement range: up to 10 V

  • Munk rectifier: up to 200 A and 30 V
  • Yokogawa recorder: measures U, I, J, T
  • Yokogawa Controller: programming for individual control of the electrolysis process
